Job summary

Addiction Recovery Care, LLC (ARC) in Kentucky is hiring an Addiction Counselor to join our clinical team. You will perform initial assessments, diagnose, document, and lead individual and group therapy sessions to guide clients toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling or Master's in Clinical Counseling or Social Work.
• Active Kentucky counseling license and related certification/licensure.
• Minimum 2 years administrative/management experience and QA focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient services: initial assessments, diagnosis, and documentation for care placement.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions and related documentation.
• Explain medical necessity of services using ASAM guidelines.
• Complete appeals with third-party payers as needed.
• Coordinate with program administration and staff.
• Support professional development and training in diagnosis and assessment.
