Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking a Tutor I in the A&E CAD Department, working hourly with up to 19 hours per week. You will assist students with CAD coursework both virtually and face-to-face, tackling assignments across architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical domains.

The position requires completing specified CAD courses with an A average and providing three instructor referrals. Pay is $23.00 per hour, with a closing date of October 6, 2026.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have completed each listed courses with an A average (DFTG 1405- Technical Drafting; DFTG 1433- Mechanical Drafting; DFTG 2431- Intro to BIM; DFTG 2430- Civil Drafting).
• Applicant must have an A average in all classes within your specialization.

Responsibilities

• Assist A&E CAD students with their coursework, both virtually and F2F.
• Projects may include architectural, civil, mechanical & electrical assignments.
