You will mentor junior designers and contribute to quality control, documentation standards, and project delivery within a dynamic design-build environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• 5+ years of utility design, drafting, or infrastructure experience.
• Experience on water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of utility coordination on transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility design models and construction documents using ORD.
• Prepare plan sheets for water, wastewater, stormwater, and relocation projects.
• Develop and modify utility alignments and details.
• Support utility conflict identification and relocations for transportation projects.
• Coordinate utility designs with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare coordination exhibits and relocation plan packages.
• Revise drawings based on comments from clients and reviewers.
• Maintain electronic project file structures and document standards.
• Support QA/QC processes.
• Ensure compliance with ORD standards.
• Manage multiple projects with schedule and quality expectations.
• Mentor junior designers.
