Job summary

WGA is seeking a dedicated CAD Designer to join our team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on producing precise AutoCAD drawings for land development, municipal, and site development projects, in model and paper space, with regard to x-references and sheet sets.

You will collaborate with project leaders to assemble drawing packages and support multiple project types from preliminary sketches to construction documents, while applying strong attention to detail and delivering results on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Land Development, Municipal or Site Development Design.
• 3+ years’ experience using AutoCAD applications.
• Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD in model/paper space environments, x-references, dynamic blocks, sheet set manager and other frequently used AutoCAD applications.
• Assist with preparation of drawing packages for municipal, land development and site development projects.
• Work closely with project and task team leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
