Bowman Company in Victorville, CA is seeking a CAD Technician II to support engineers and planners by translating notes and sketches into documentable CAD solutions. This role offers growth within a collaborative team and an indoor office setting with flexible remote work arrangements.

The candidate should have 3+ years CAD experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and an Associate degree or related training. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Three or more (3+) years of experience using CAD standards, preferably in the land development industry.
• Equivalent of computer certificate for CAD Class Training.
• Must have experience with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Experience with computer applications and software such as, Microsoft office, etc.

Responsabilités

• Draft plans/mark-ups for the purpose of creating construction documents.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review.
• Revise plans according to client, manager, or reviewer comments.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining all CAD or CAD related files for clients, town, or county intake.
• Delegate responsibilities for submitting plans on time.
• Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements to CAD drafting duties from project manager with allocated budgets.
• Perform non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions under minimum supervision.

Purpose

Support assigned engineers, planners, landscape architects, or other technical positions by providing technical support and translating technical notes, sketches, electronic data and/or drawings into documentable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Direction

• Perform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.

At the Operational and Company Level

• Work closely with more senior staff members to learn and assist in design work.

Do the Work

Salary and eligible variable compensation (if any) commensurate with experience. Hourly Range $25.00 - $35.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
