Job summary

Forsgren Associates, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a CAD Technician to assist engineers in designing and drafting engineering plan sets. You will create Civil Engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, prepare project figures, and write material lists and cost estimates.

Maintain standard templates and ensure drawings meet industry standards. The role requires 1+ years of related experience, a relevant degree, and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design, draft, review, and evaluate engineering plan sets.
• Create Civil Engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Prepare report figures for projects.
• Write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
• Maintain a library of standard drawing templates.
