Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies in Aurora, Ohio, is seeking a CAD Technician to prepare control drawings and oversee quality assurance. The technician will work closely with electrical designers and engineers to deliver accurate drawing sets. Candidates should have an Associate's degree or equivalent and proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Qualifications

• Strong understanding of NFPA, NEC, and IEC codes.
• Experience in preparing control drawings and conducting inspections.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare control drawings using CAD software.
• Engage with designers and engineers throughout the design phase.
• Conduct field inspections prior to finalizing drawing revisions.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical CAD software programs (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical)

General knowledge of electrical circuitry

Self-checking of work for accuracy

Education

Associates degree or equivalent trade school degree
