GeoEngineers, Inc. in Springfield, MO is hiring a CAD Technician to assist in producing figures and design drawings for civil and environmental projects.

You will work with CAD Staff to develop drawings for engineers and scientists in an entry-level position that supports multiple projects. This role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), basic AutoCAD/Civil 3D knowledge, and the ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience producing civil and/or environmental engineering drawings and figures preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and/or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with redlines and Civil 3D tasks (points, surfaces, alignments).
• Process basic CAD/engineering data for drawings and create basic figures.
• Support engineering design drawings and CAD standards initiatives (library, symbology, layers).
