Job summary

DeKalb Health is seeking a CAD Technician/Drafter to support project teams by creating and updating installation and manufacturing drawings. You will review customer drawings, prepare dimensional drawings, and verify accuracy against requirements under the supervision of a project manager.

The role emphasizes attention to spatial relationships, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD software is helpful but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, highly detail oriented and ability to understand spatial relationships.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and to work in a team environment, cross-departmentally.
• Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, strong multitasking skills and efficiently schedule and manage time.

Under the supervision of a project manager, the CAD Technician performs a variety of design/drafting activities including preparing/updating/reviewing installation drawings for projects and preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings.
