Job summary

NV5 is seeking a CAD Technician to support the Survey group in our Jacksonville, Florida office. The role focuses on drafting and mapping using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with emphasis on accuracy of field notes and compliance with Florida Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D in surveying workflows.
• Knowledge of Florida Standards of Practice.

We are looking for a CAD Technician to support the Survey group in our Jacksonville, Florida office.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current or prior experience with Auto Cad and Civil 3D
• Current or prior experience with technical drafting in the land surveying fields
• Knowledge of the standards of practice applied to data manipulation and mapping production
• Knowledge of the following types of surveys:
  • As-Built
  • ALTA/NSPS
  • Boundary
  • Construction layout
  • Control
  • Right-of-Way
  • Specific Purpose
  • Topographic
