Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist focused on CAD systems for Civil Engineering in Indianapolis. You will deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Autodesk and Bentley CAD environments, serving as a bridge between engineering teams and software vendors.

Responsibilities include software deployment, licensing management, and performance optimization across workstations and servers. A background in CAD tools, Windows networking, and scripting for automation is preferred;

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years IT support, CAD administration, or deployments in AEC environments.
• Experience deploying and supporting Autodesk and Bentley products.
• Ability to work with vendors to diagnose and resolve licensing issues.
• Knowledge of CAD in virtual environments; Windows and networking basics.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot CAD environments (Autodesk/Bentley).
• Act as primary contact with Autodesk and Bentley support; log and escalate issues.
• Provide Tier 2/3 CAD-related support; optimize performance across workstations and servers.
• Administer licensing, track usage, and coordinate renewals with procurement.
• Support ProjectWise, Autodesk Docs, BIM 360 and related data environments.
