Job summary

City of Branson in Missouri is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to design and update CAD drawings for roads, utilities, parks, and public infrastructure projects, and to collect field data and support surveying.

You will create maps, plans, reports, and as-built drawings, collaborate with engineers and survey teams, and participate from initial design through construction support.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and successful full-time employment in technical engineering, to include drafting, surveying, and mapping.
• Two (2) years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screenings.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology.
  • Directly related full-time work experience, as determined by the Department Director, of four (4) or more years' full-time employment in technical engineering may be substituted for formal education or training.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and successful full-time employment in technical engineering, to include drafting, surveying, and mapping, as part of the duties.
• Two (2) years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screenings.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in-office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
