Job DescriptionJob Description
CAD SpecialistWe are seeking a contract-based CAD Specialist for a 3-months project to enhance the operational efficiency of our CAFM system, which provides direct support to the Space & Occupancy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date drawing standards and polyline. Applicants must possess expert-level skills in AutoCAD, along with a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with construction and furniture drawings. This remote position is based in the USA and is initially available for a 3-month period, with the possibility of extension up to 6 monthsResponsibilities:

• Review and clean up CAD drawings to ensure all layers are organized according to company standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to polyline floorplans accurately following the BOMA 2017 standard.
• Ensuring the CAD file contains no 3D blocks, flattening items, and utilizing standard blocks for consistency.
• May help with Test Fits as needed

Requirements:

• Educational background in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• 1-2 years project-related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Knowledge of building code.
• Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft EXCEL.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously and remotely.

Compensation: $40-$50 per hour ID# 1666
