Job summary

PERI Formwork Systems, Inc. in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Solutions Engineer to provide advanced engineering support and develop design solutions using PERI systems. You will create 2D/3D layouts, coordinate resources, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to meet project scope and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience and the core requirements for the SOLENG role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work with multiple software.
• Advanced application engineering knowledge of PERI systems.
• Ability to coordinate complex tasks, manage scope and schedule, delegate tasks to TSO.
• Ability to perform advanced engineering calculations and propose alternate/custom solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D CAD design and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Propose design solutions using most of PERI’s systems.
• Create accurate 2D/3D layouts of PERI systems where needed.
• Coordinate resources to meet project scope and schedules.
• Work with Senior Solutions Engineers and Sales Engineers to ensure project understanding.
• Design and calculate proposed solutions to meet project goals and profitability.
• Produce detailed assembly drawings with material lists.
• Create layouts and materials lists where appropriate.
• Meet with internal departments and customers regarding goals and timelines.
• Retain technical documentation of solution designs and lessons learned.
• Serve as liaison between departments to coordinate resources and ensure smooth handoffs.
