Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software in Ohio is offering a Spring 2027 Strategic Student Program internship in Product Engineering Software (PES). You will develop Designcenter CAD software, design and implement components, and work with senior engineers to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

You will explore Cloud Web Development and Designcenter development, gaining hands-on experience with C++ and modern software practices while pursuing a CS degree.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate or graduate student
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• C++ required; JavaScript preferred
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software is a plus
• Cloud or AWS experience is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Designcenter CAD software as part of PES
• Design, develop, modify, and implement software for products
• Ensure high quality and on-time delivery across required platforms
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to improve the software
• Work on two main disciplines: Cloud Web Development and Designcenter development
