Qualifications

• AS degree with 1–3 years drafting experience or HS diploma with 2–5 years drafting experience.
• Expert CAD and 3D modeling software experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Customer orientation, flexibility, results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Creates and modifies CAD models and product drawings for manufacturing, vendors, and customers.
• Anticipates options to meet customer needs and provides timely solutions.
• Collaborates with Customer Service, RTQ&E, Manufacturing, Materials Management, suppliers and customers.
• Discusses process flow and product issues with manufacturing and end users.
• Communicates clearly to facilitate understanding and satisfaction with CAD solutions.
• Keeps up to date with CAD/architectural technologies and may automate CAD features.
