Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a CAD Technician to create and refine detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D for our structural team. You will transform survey data into accurate plans, ensure client specifications, and collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver comprehensive drawing packages.

You will join a team delivering projects on time and within budget, with a salary range of $25–$28 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology or CAD Certification or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in design and drafting, preferably in Utilities/Oil & Gas.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, including X-Refs and coordinate systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry such as Gas Distribution Systems and/or Compressor Stations.

Job description

CAD Technician, where you will create detailed construction plans using AutoCAD for the structural group. This role ensures drawings meet client specifications and design coordinator instructions.

CAD Technician and bring ideas to life! In this role, you'll create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, transforming data from surveys into accurate, high-quality plans. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and designers, prepare complete drawing packages for client submittals, and ensure every detail meets industry and client standards.

This position pays between $25 and $28 hourly and is a non-exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by the company.

Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD Certification or equivalent prior work experience

• ~2-4 years of experience in the design and drafting field with some Utilities industry knowledge
• ~ Proficient in AutoCAD , including X-Refs and understanding coordinate systems.
• Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry such as Gas Distribution Systems and/or Compressor Stations
• Basic knowledge of advanced CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D or Civil 3D (Civil 3D is a big plus)
• Organized to stay on task and complete projects within budget
• Detail oriented for producing a great quality package
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, high-quality drawings and collaborating effectively with the team
