Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. CAD Technician to create and refine detailed construction drawings for the structural group using AutoCAD and Plant 3D.

You will transform survey data into accurate plans and prepare complete drawing packages for client submittals in collaboration with engineers and designers. In this role, you’ll create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, transforming data from surveys into accurate, high-quality plans. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and designers, prepare complete drawing packages for client submittals, and ensure every detail meets industry and client standards. • This position pays between $25 and $28 hourly and is a non-exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident, and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
• Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD
  Certification or equivalent prior work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in the design and drafting field with some Utilities industry knowledge
• Proficient in AutoCAD, including X-Refs and understanding coordinate systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry such as Gas Distribution Systems and/or Compressor Stations
• Basic knowledge of advanced CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D or Civil 3D (Civil 3D is a big plus)
• Organized to stay on task and complete projects within budget
• Detail oriented for producing a great quality package
• Self-motivated for striving to build upon previous successes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, high-quality drawings and collaborating effectively with the team
