Job summary

Anton Cabinetry in Texas seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design team in our fast‑paced commercial millwork operation. This onsite leadership role focuses on standardizing processes, improving workflow between Engineering and Production, and delivering high‑quality shop and production drawings.

Ideal candidates bring 7–15 years in millwork engineering and a track record of building disciplined teams.

Qualifications

7–15 years of commercial millwork engineering experience.
Strong command of shop drawings, production drawings, CNC workflows, and millwork standards.
Enough technical depth to guide and review work, without being a “heads down” drafter.
A steady, accountable, results‑driven leadership presence.
The confidence and communication style to reset expectations and bring people together.
Experience building processes, not just following them.
2–5+ years managing or leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Establish consistent drawing standards for shop and production drawings.
Align the team around one way of doing things.
Improve accuracy and reduce variation across engineers.
Strengthen internal review processes.
Ensure predictable, high‑quality release packages to the shop.
Raise expectations, build discipline, drive training consistency, and create a culture of ownership and follow-through.
Work closely with the Director of Production to improve predictability of releases and establish a dependable weekly schedule.
Lead by presence on site and ensure collaboration between Engineering and Production.
