The CAD Manager‑ Senior Designer position involves coordinating with engineers, the CAD department, and manufacturing teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction with projects. This role not only reviews project performance and potential improvements but also oversees the CAD team's operations, including managing and mentoring team members. The CAD Manager‑ Senior Designer assesses potential new uses for CAD within the organization, keeps the department’s software, techniques, and tools up to date, establishes departmental mechanical design standards, and ensures design for manufacturability. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining technical drawings, visual representations of products, assembly instructions, and ensuring adherence to common practices within the CAD team.
