Job summary

ASRC Federal Netcentric Technologies, LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a CAD/GIS Technician to support the KEOS contract at Kirtland AFB. You will perform GIS data editing, cartographic design and CAD drafting in civil/architectural contexts.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent, 2+ years CAD/GIS experience, proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe; a valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Architectural/Engineering Drafting Technology or related field; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD and GIS environments.
Experience using CAD and GIS software; proficiency in Microsoft Office365 and Adobe suites.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must maintain a valid US driver’s license.
Willingness to work with customers and employees professionally.
Commitment to a safe work environment.
Citizenship requirements and ability to obtain/maintain a US government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

GIS data editing, cartographic design, map composition and geographic analysis with ESRI ArcGIS software.
Edit and maintain GIS data in SDS/FIE compliant spatial database.
Engine (SDE) Geodatabase management.
CAD drafting and design and modeling in AutoCAD for civil engineering or architecture.
GPS surveying using Trimble equipment and post-processing software; post-process field data.
Perform routine and emergency drafting tasks as required by government.
