Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies, the Professional Services Group of Mno-Bmadsen, seeks an experienced CAD/GIS Support to keep AutoCAD and GIS files up to date for construction and facility engineering at JJRTC in Laurel, MD. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, field coordination, and technical support across project phases.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 4+ years’ CAD/GIS experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS platforms.
• Experience managing or supporting construction projects through planning, execution, and closeout phases.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day CAD support for assigned construction and facility engineering projects.
• Support the COR and/or senior project leadership in the execution of contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and facility personnel.
• Review construction schedules, design documents, drawings, and submittals for contract conformance.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Identify construction issues and field conditions; support development of practical solutions.
• Assist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, and contract modifications.
• Support acquisition activities including responding to contractor questions and participating in site visits.
• Attend and support contractor/Government meetings and project coordination sessions.
• Draft technical input for change orders and contract adjustments.
• Ensure contractor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Support reporting, documentation, and project status updates for Government stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout and turnover activities
