Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain detailed steel shop, fabrication, and assembly drawings for miscellaneous metals and components.

• Generate fabrication packages including weld details, BOMs, and production documents.

Our client, a steel fabrication and structural manufacturing company supporting government-related projects, is seeking a CAD Drafting Engineer (Steel Shop Drawings) to join their team. As a CAD Drafting Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Design Department supporting the Engineering, Project Management, Fabrication, and Production Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Create, revise, and maintain detailed steel shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for miscellaneous metals, hose racks, beams, and other fabricated steel components.
