Job summary

Metals USA has an immediate opening for a CAD Drafting/Engineering role in the Tulsa, OK location. The candidate will create drawings and CNC programs using AutoCAD/CAD-CAM software to coordinate production, customers, sales, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include designing mechanical components, providing technical guidance to departments, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications. Strong math skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED plus technical training.
Minimum 2 years experience as a CAD Programmer, preferably in metal fabrication.
Ability to read blueprints, tolerances and manufacturing drawings.
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
Proficient with AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software.
Able to work in a fast-paced production area and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develops and details mechanical components and process plans using AutoCAD.
Provides technical guidance to manufacturing and sales departments.
Ensures quality by designing tests and validating fabrication and assembly processes.
