Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our engineering team in the United States. The role focuses on drafting, blueprint creation, and document control across the component build process.

You will create working drawings from Solidworks, maintain revisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and MES/ERP systems. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Create working drawings for all stages of the component build process.
• Create drawings from measurements of customer samples.
• Maintain daily part revisions in drawing and database system.
• Assist in creating, revising, and modifying part routings.
• Control all drawings within document control system.
• Assist in updating and upgrading the MRP system.
• Perform other engineering and administrative duties as assigned.
