Job summary
CRH Americas Building Products seeks a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements. You will maintain catalog drawings and a digital library for the website, working closely with Division Engineer, Sales, Production, and Quality Control to ensure products match the latest shop drawings.
The role is based at our San Antonio plant; 2+ years CAD experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor and strong attention to detail are required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
- Must have ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic mathematical skills.
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
- Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
- Adhere to internal/external volumes, timelines and expectations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate catalog drawings and digital library.
- Update/d maintain digital database and engineering documents.
