Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years related drafting experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE standards.
• Experience with interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from markups using CAD equipment.
• Work with engineers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and resolve design problems.
• Review specifications and drawings to assess factors affecting component designs and procedures.
• Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or production problems.
• Check dimensions of materials to ensure proper fit and function.
• Maintain CAD standards and the library of production drawings and BOMs.
