Job summary

Metromont Corporation in Bartow, FL is seeking a Project Drafter to design and prepare CAD plans for complex precast projects, integrating architectural/engineering drafting methods with CAD software.

You will collaborate with engineers and architects, produce detailed scale drawings, review files from consultants, and ensure adherence to specifications while advancing safety and quality in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years drafting experience.
• Able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Able to create detailed CAD working plans from data.
• Coordinates drafting work with engineers and architects.
• Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings.
• Able to adapt to changes in work schedules, tasks, or processes.
• Values and demonstrates safe working behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electronic CAD working plans for complex projects.
• Prepare layouts, charts, and scale drawings from specifications.
• Coordinate drafting with engineers and architects.
• Review and manipulate electronic files from consultants.
• Revise CAD designs to meet modified specifications during construction.
• Procure CAD and Revit files and provide guidance to drafting staff.
