Job summary

Corrpro Company, a corrosion engineering and cathodic protection firm, is seeking a CAD Drafter to support cathodic protection engineering and installation projects. Responsibilities include interpreting sketches, preparing plan and detail drawings, updating standard details, reviewing specs, and annotating CP components on facility drawings.

The role requires an Associates CAD degree or 3 years CAD Drafting experience; AutoCAD 2025 and GIS skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates of Arts degree in CAD or related field, or equivalent.
• 3 years CAD Drafting experience; AutoCAD 2025 preferred.
• GIS or Geospatial mapping experience preferred.
• Persistence in completing difficult tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering and construction sketches and mock-ups for graphical intent.
• Implement consistent style in plan, section, elevation, and detail drawings.
• Update standard details as directed by supervisor or engineering manager.
• Complete drawings with high professional standards for clarity and neatness.
• Review blueprints, sketches, and specs related to drafting requirements.
• Scale drawings for accurate proportion and relationships.
• Prepare CAD drawings to represent client facilities.
• Annotate cathodic protection components to facility drawings as designed or installed.
• Measure and record field data as directed by project engineers or project managers.
• Analyze and tabulate data for customer reports.
• Create engineering bill of materials as needed.

Corrpro Company is looking for a CAD Drafter for cathodic protection engineering and installation projects.

Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities and public transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates of Arts degree in Computer Aided Drafting or related field or equivalent required

• 3 years of CAD Drafting experience required in lieu of education with AutoCAD 2025 preferred

• GIS or Geospatial Mapping experience preferred

• Persist at difficult tasks despite unexpected obstacles
