SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a CAD Drafter for an Elkton, MD 6+ month contract. The role centers on creating 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product, tooling and testing components, with on-site work at Elkton, MD.

Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting and modeling experience is required. Proficiency with NX CAD and Siemens Teamcenter is expected; GD&T and ASME standards exposure is a plus.

Competenze

• 5 years min experience CAD Drafting and modeling.
• Experience in the application of GD&T, and ASME standards is preferred.

• Plans, lays out, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.

Client is looking for a Drafter 2 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 3D Cad Modeling
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD)
• NX CAD
• Siemens Teamcenter

Responsibilities

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.
