Meritas Advisory Group, LLC in Elkton, MD is seeking a CAD Drafter for a 6+ month on-site contract. The role focuses on creating 2D drawings and 3D models for product, tooling, and testing components and assemblies.

Must have 5+ years of CAD drafting experience and hands-on NX CAD/Teamcenter use, with US citizenship required for on-site work. The Drafter 2 will produce detailed production drawings and support manufacturing operations, detailing scaling, reference planes, and GD&T while ensuring

Competenze

• 5 years min experience CAD Drafting and modeling.
• Experience with GD&T and ASME standards.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools and drafting practices.

• Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Client is looking for a Drafter 2 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 3D Cad Modeling
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD)
• NX CAD
• Siemens Teamcenter
