Job summary

Windrose Surveying & Land Services, LLC is seeking a CAD Drafter for the Commercial Land Surveying team. The role focuses on producing accurate topo, boundary, and survey drawings, supporting field crews, and coordinating with the Survey Manager to ensure project success.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of drafting experience in surveying, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD), and a proactive, client-focused approach to deliver precise, timely work within a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associates/technical degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years drafting experience in surveying; CAD experience required.
• Proficient CAD and survey drafting skills; ability to read and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Survey Manager to discuss parameters and drafting needs.
• Perform precise mathematical calculations and drafting of topo, as-built, boundary, and other survey drawings.
• Prepare construction drawings for civil engineering work with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist field crews with point files, interpretations, and data as needed.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and comply with company policies.
