Job summary

Superior Technical Ceramics Corporation, part of IDEX, is seeking a CAD Drafter who will draft and document components for the shop floor, create working drawings from measurements, and maintain part revisions within our database system.

The role emphasizes accuracy, blueprint reading, and collaboration with engineering teams to update routings and support our MRP system while delivering high-quality drawings on schedule.

Qualifications

  • At least an Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience.
  • Proficient blueprint drawing with SolidWorks or similar.
  • Ability to read and tolerance drawings.
  • Strong math, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Create working drawings for all stages of the component build process.
  • Create drawings from measurement of solid customer samples.
  • Maintain daily part revisions in the drawing/database system.
  • Assist in creation, revision and modification of part routings.
  • Control drawings within document control system.
  • Assist in updating and upgrading the MRP system.
  • All other engineering and administrative duties as assigned.
