Job summary

Insight Global in Richmond, VA is seeking a CAD Drafter to support design and development of utility infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and natural gas pipelines. You will prepare detailed construction drawings, plan and profile sheets, as-built docs, and design packages, working with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and field staff.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years drafting experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, and MicroStation; collaboration

Qualifications

• 4 years of drafting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Experience with MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings and plan/profile sheets.
• Create as-built documentation and utility design packages.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and field personnel.
