CAD Drafter

What you\'ll bring:

• AAS in CAD Drafting or a similar field
• 1-3 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the telecommunications field

What you\'ll do:

Primary Objective of Position: To produce quality, accurate working documents, maps, staking sheets, common drafting practices and other documents in a timely manner that exceed client expectations.

Essential Functions

I. Drafting

• a. Transform initial rough drawings, staking sheets, information, specifications, etc. into working documents as directed by client or engineer
• b. Assure drawings adhere to applicable specifications, standards, and/or client instructions
• c. Update maps and staking sheets as needed
• d. Maintain neat and accurate files both electronic and physical
• e. Produce plots and photocopies of final drawings
• f. Hand draft as needed
• g. Ability to operate Auto CAD, Auto CAD Map, Cadtel, Visio and Elation Systems
• h. Maintain drafting equipment and supplies

II. Client Relations

• a. Work directly with client as directed to assure a clear understanding of expectations
• b. Assure professional demeanour at all times when interacting with clients, peers, and supervisors
• c. Assist with creating other documents, books, surveys, etc. as directed

Location: In-person, Perham building

Pay: $18-21/hr, DOE
