WORK SHIFT:

First Shift (United States of America)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter. The drafter will interpret customer design intent and develop AutoCAD drawings from plans, specifications, sketches, and/or oral instructions for custom fabrication of restaurant equipment.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • *Create Auto Cad submittal shop drawings of stainless-steel kitchen equipment.
    • *Create Auto Cad submittal shop drawings of serving counters/tables, including stone tops, millwork bases and finishes, and metal curbs.
    • *Revise Auto Cad drawings based on customer feedback.
    • *Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, dependable, and flexible to potential schedule changes to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
    • *Executes each essential duty satisfactorily to perform the job successfully.
    • *Follows all safety procedures required in the work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
    • *Performs effectively as a team member, can work well with others, is open to receiving and giving feedback, and treats everyone respectfully.
    • *Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
    • *Follows all department quality standards/criteria. Raises concerns and issues to management.
    • *Understands the department's key performance indicators (KPIs) and contributes to achieving these goals individually and as a team.
    • *Other duties as needed or required.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Consult with Engineering, Project management, and Sales departments to ensure the accuracy of design interpretation
    • Work directly with the Engineering department to ensure the efficacy of equipment drawings.
    • Consistently maintain a working knowledge of company, consultant, and dealer equipment specifications.
    • Visit the shop floor regularly to learn all aspects of design-related fabrication.
    • Work directly with customers, ensuring accurate interpretation of specifications and intent.
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible, and be open to possible schedule changes to meet business needs.
    • Some travel may be required.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficient in Auto Cad 2018 or newer
    • Working experience with Bluebeam or PDF Software
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university or 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
    • Safety glasses with side shields
    • Face covering (mask) by company policy

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university and 1-3 years of related experience.

    Schedule:

    • 8-hour shift
    • Expected hours: 40 per week
    • Normal shop hours are 6:30 am until 3:00 pm
    • Work Location: In person
    • Ability to Commute: Northglenn, CO 80233 (Required)

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$18.00 - $24.00
