Job summary

Bergen Pipe Supports is seeking a full-time CAD Drafter to join our Donora, PA office. You will create CAD shop drawings with Bills of Materials for fabrication orders and help drive fabrication projects from concept through production.

The ideal candidate has experience with AutoCAD, strong 3D visualization, and the ability to produce accurate 2D drawings while collaborating with the engineering team. Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability with AutoCAD and CAD drawing standards.
• Strong detail orientation and spatial visualization for 3D parts.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD shop drawings with Bills of Materials for fabrication orders.
• Configure, deploy, maintain and upgrade CAD models for piping systems.
• Answer questions and provide engineering information as needed.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.
• Assist and train technicians to complete projects on time.

Bergen Pipe Supports is currently hiring for a full-time CAD Drafter to work out of one of our offices in Donora, PA. The CAD Drafter is responsible to create CAD shop drawings with Bill of Material for fabrication orders.

Essential Duties:

• Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models.
• Utilize and work with piping systems and drawing to design and analyze pipe support.
• Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
• Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Days/Shift:

• Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with AutoCAD software. Mathematics skills - Algebra, Geometry
• Detail oriented and able to visualize parts in 3D. Experience with 2D drawings.
• Strong analytical, design, and concept skills.
• Able to clearly communicate with others.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and control workflow in a team environment.
• Must be able to work accurately with deadlines and set priorities.
