Job summary

AMiche Talent Connect LLC is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support the design and development of custom residential homes in Fort Worth, TX. You will create accurate construction drawings from plans, markups, and client requirements, transforming concepts into buildable layouts.

You will work with design consultants, project teams, and leadership to ensure documentation reflects project goals and quality standards, while collaborating across disciplines and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software required.
• Experience with SoftPlan and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Residential construction, homebuilding, architectural drafting, or related design experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed residential CAD drawings from existing plans, markups, verbal instructions, and client requirements.
• Develop and modify construction documents to support custom home projects.
• Review, revise, and correct construction sketches and design details as needed.
• Maintain project files and ensure drawing accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with home specialists, design consultants, operations teams, sales leadership, and the CAD Manager.
• Assist in translating custom home concepts into detailed plans that support construction execution.
• Utilize blueprints, construction drawings, and 3D CAD models to develop and update home designs.
