Job summary

PINNACLE in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a meticulous CAD Detailer to create and refine 2D/3D drawings for diverse exhibit and install projects. You will read blueprints, evaluate specs, and generate precise CAD files for fabrication, collaborating daily with shop staff in our in-office facility.

You should have 5+ years of CAD detailing experience (exhibit or permanent install preferred) and be fluent in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or Inventor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating and refining 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• 5+ years detailing in the exhibit, event or permanent install industries.
• Strong CAD software knowledge; SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD/SketchUp/Rhino/Inventor acceptable.
• High level of detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job description

We are looking for a meticulous CAD Detailer to join our team in our Hillsboro, Oregon facility. As a CAD Detailer, you will be responsible for creating and refining 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software. The successful candidate should be able to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications and be comfortable communicating value engineering options with team members. Common materials include wood, steel, aluminum, acrylic, expanded PVC. No two projects are the same. You'll be providing solutions to new engineering opportunities daily. This is an in office position--the only way to be face to face with the builders in our shop on the daily.

What You’ll Do
