CAD Designer (Stream & Wetland)

Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) has designed/restored over 250 miles of streams and 2,500 acres of wetlands. We have recently completed projects in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Tennessee.

As a CAD Designer for CEC Inc., you'll be a critical part of a diverse ecological restoration team, working alongside professionals to improve ecosystems across the country. Your responsibilities include producing computer-generated to-scale engineering drawings and 3D models, such as cross-sections, profiles, and details, based on detailed sketches, design criteria, and directions from senior designers.

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Associate's or technical degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D software
  • Ability to apply CAD skills to various projects
  • Ability to analyze and interpret design criteria
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Experience with GIS and RIVERMorph is a plus but not required
