Job summary

Malin is seeking a CAD Designer to support the Systems department in developing material handling layouts and detailed drawing packages. This role collaborates with engineering, sales, and project management teams to deliver accurate, high-quality CAD drawings for warehouse and automation systems.

The position focuses on creating 2D CAD layouts and detailed drawings for conveyors, mezzanines, and automation components, while maintaining revision control and CAD standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Minimum 2+ years of CAD drafting or design experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D CAD layouts and detailed drawings for material handling systems including conveyors, mezzanines, and automation components.
• Interpret engineering concepts, markups, and system requirements into production-ready drawings.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and adherence to company CAD standards.
• Support sales with concept layouts and assist project teams with construction and installation drawing packages.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure drawings align with project scope, schedule, and installation needs.
• Update drawings based on field feedback and project changes.
