Qualifications

Requires 0–3 years of experience as a Design Technician with CAD experience.
Experience in the refractory industry preferred.
Associate Degree in CAD Design or Engineering or related technical field.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and CREO software.
Knowledge of MS Excel and Access for BOMs and customer databases.
Requires accurate close, color, and peripheral vision and the ability to focus.
No lifting required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and prepare detailed and accurate CAD shape drawings.
Prepare CAD refractory shape drawings for plant manufacturing.
Prepare CAD refractory lining drawings for simple customer vessels.
Prepare Excel bills of materials for simple customer vessels.
Support sales quotes and customer orders.
Work in an office setting with limited exposure; sit for long periods and stay focused.
