Job summary

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES in Schenectady, NY is seeking a CAD Designer I for a 1-year contract to create accurate CAD models and drawings under supervision. The role requires collaboration with engineers and adherence to drafting standards.

The ideal candidate will have CAD experience, knowledge of GD&T, and strong attention to detail, with effective written and verbal communication. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related vocational/technical program with CAD/drafting experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and ability to create/modify drawings.
• Knowledge of drafting practices and GD&T fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate CAD models and drawings from instructions, sketches, and layouts.
• Execute revisions and changes as directed by engineers/project managers.
• Work under supervision, incorporating feedback to meet standards.
