ShinWon NY Office is seeking a CAD Artist with a textile design background to translate concepts into CAD artwork, production-ready repeats, and presentation materials for a brand-focused product assortment. The role collaborates with Design to faithfully render color directions and develops pattern repeats with compelling colorways for production and client presentations.

You will create prints from original work or purchased files, execute color separations, and deliver production-ready art

Formación

• BA Degree in Design or Textile Design.
• 3–5 years of experience in Textile Design in Kids.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of repeat patterns, textile printing, yarn dye reproduction.
• Strong sense of color for colorways creation.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Strong creative ability and sophisticated eye for technique and trends.
• Self-starter open to collaborative teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Design Director and customers on visualization, presentation of pattern concepts through CAD artwork.
• Translate pattern and color direction into artwork for brand and client.
• Create prints through original work or purchased files; clean and place prints into production repeats.
• Execute color separations; ensure artwork meets production specs and presentation needs.
• Develop pattern repeats and alternate colorways for prints and plaids.
• Provide production-ready artwork for internal and external partners.
• Create print boards for presentation seasonally and update them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer requests.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Match color standards; maintain seasonal color palettes; track approvals.

This CAD Artist role is a great opportunity for a creative textile designer with kids experience to bring original patterns, prints, colorways, and seasonal artwork to life for a brand-focused product assortment. The position partners closely with Design to translate concepts and color direction into polished CAD artwork, production-ready repeats, and compelling presentation materials. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending creativity with technical execution while working across multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Collaborate with Design Director and customers on the visualization, presentation, and communication of pattern concepts through CAD artwork
• Translate pattern and color direction to interpret into artwork appropriate for the brand and client
• Create prints through original work or purchased files (contemporary and vintage). Cleaning and placing prints into production size repeats.
• Execute color separations. Artwork must be created for design production with technical specs as well as for visual presentations
• Develop pattern repeats and produce alternate color ways for developed prints and plaids
• Provide production ready artwork for internal and external partners
• Creates print boards for presentation seasonally and updates them accordingly.
• Collaborates with cross functional team to support customers requests
• Organizing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Matching color standards. Maintaining accurate seasonal color palette. Tracking approvals of artwork selections, recolorings, customer feedbacka nd final bulk approvals.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• BA Degree in Design or Textile Design
• 3-5 years of experience in Textile Design in Kids with strong sense of textile development process from conceptualization to finished design.
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of repeat patterns, textile printing, yarn dye reproduction
• Strong sense of color for the creation of colorways
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop required
• Strong creative ability and a sophisticated eye for technique, hand and design trends
• Self-starter. Open to working collaboratively as part of a team.

3-4 days a week in the office. Hybrid arrangement avaialble until our office moves in 2027.
