Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician/CAD Designer to join our Land Development team in Tulsa, OK. You will support engineers by creating and editing CAD drawings, applying CAD standards, and preparing design documents with attention to detail.

This role requires basic engineering knowledge, Civil 3D familiarity, and the ability to collaborate across project teams. A Associate's degree or equivalent and 1–5 years of land development experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Reviews project scope and confers with project engineer concerning tasks required such as plan preparation, evaluation of field conditions, design requirements, and/or reports
• Uses computer equipment including engineering and design modeling software to prepare engineering and design documents
• Support and communicate with engineers, project managers and other supervisors throughout all stages of the drafting, design and construction process
• Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings
• Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
• Plot and check drawings
• Willing to take on other duties as assigned
• Performs basic design tasks

Responsibilities
