The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in CAD Software, AutoCAD, and engineering drawings. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create custom millwork and cabinetry designs using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision software.
  • Prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by architects.
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure designs are feasible and can be manufactured efficiently.
  • Work closely with clients and architects to gather product requirements and designs.
  • Create and alter CAD models and engineering drawings in response to feedback from the production team or clients.
  • Ensure all drawings and designs are up-to-date and meet all quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support for production team and help troubleshoot any issues with the CAD software.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD design/engineering, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in CAD software, AutoCAD, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience in wood, cabinet, and custom millwork design is a must.
  • Cabinet Vision software experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings and displays/furniture manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
