Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a Digital Facilities BIM Technician to join our Dalton, GA team on a 6-month contract. You will produce detailed 2D drawings and manage digital building plans using AutoCAD, Revit, CAFM/IWMS, and serve as Autodesk Vault administrator.

You will review drawing sets for constructability, coordinate BIM models, interpret GIS maps and building codes, and provide technical leadership to CAD technicians while collaborating with Facilities and Design teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience using AutoCAD and Revit beyond formal education.
• 5+ years of experience collaborating directly with Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Mechanical engineers.
• Hands-on proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to drive up to 3 hours per day for facility site visits.
• Active AutoCAD or Revit certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D technical drawings across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and Electrical facility systems.
• Create, manage, and optimize digital building floor plans, layouts, and assets using AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and CAFM/IWMS systems to support building operations and maintenance.
• Serve as Autodesk Vault administrator, managing digital design ecosystem files, security permissions, user roles, and plant information.
• Review architectural drawing sets for constructability, functionality, and compliance with National CAD Standards (NCS), International Building Code (IBC), ADA, and Life Safety guidelines.
• Interpret and synthesize GIS, FEMA, and GSWCC maps, manuals, and local city/state building codes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and provide technical leadership and training to CAD technicians.
• Collaborate directly with Global Facilities, Design Services, and Grounds Management leadership to execute architectural drawings for roofing, paving, mechanical, and civil projects.
