Job summary

Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. is seeking an Engineering-AutoCAD Designer Assistant in Chesterfield, MI. The role supports the engineering team with document design, presentations, and inspection of return parts while leveraging MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create charts and reports.

Candidates should have manufacturing shop experience, be detail-oriented, and able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check. 40 hours/week plus overtime and Saturdays, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Comfortable making charts, PowerPoints, and Word documents.
• Experience with measuring instruments.
• Manufacturing shop experience.
• Attention to details.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

Engineering-AutoCAD Designer Assistant Chesterfield- MI About Exco: Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. was established in 1997 following the foundation of Exco Technologies Limited in 1952. The Exco Extrusion Group has grown to include facilities in Canada, Texas, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Germany and Italy. The Exco Extrusion Group of manufacturing facilities are part of the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. Our mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce and assure long operating life. Our production capabilities exceed 4,500 dies a month, supporting extruders serving construction, automotive, and consumer goods markets.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Designing PowerPoints for meetings and presentations
• Designing charts, and word documents for upper management
• Assisting the engineering department with various tasks and projects
