Job summary

SHINE Technologies, LLC in Janesville, WI, is seeking a Designer (CAD) to design and document plant systems, including process piping, HVAC, and electrical scopes. You will produce 3D models and drawings to support construction and operations.

You will create PFDs, P&IDs, and 3D models in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and SolidWorks, coordinating with engineers to resolve clashes and ensure accurate as-builts. This onsite role may require extended hours to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related discipline with 3–5 years of design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with drafting and design standards.
• Experience designing systems from the ground up and providing design rationale.

Responsibilities

• Model and document plant process systems using 3D modeling tools, CAD/BIM platforms and create PFDs/P&IDs.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and update the integrated model.
• Perform field verification through site walkdowns to reconcile as-built conditions with the model.
