Job summary

SHINE Technologies, LLC in Janesville, WI is seeking a Designer (CAD) to design and document plant systems for Chrysalis, the world-class Mo-99 production facility. The role emphasizes detailed 3D modeling of piping, HVAC, fire protection, civil, structural, and electrical layouts to support construction and operation.

You will create PFDs/P&IDs in AutoCAD Plant 3D, build 3D models in Revit and SolidWorks, and coordinate with engineers to resolve clashes and ensure accurate field-referenced data

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related discipline with 3–5 years of design experience, or a bachelor's in mechanical engineering with design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with drafting and design standards.
• Experience designing systems from the ground up and communicating design rationale.

Responsibilities

• Model plant process systems in 3D, including piping, skids, and facility plans across mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical scopes.
• Create/modify PFDs, P&IDs, and 3D plant/systems piping in AutoCAD Plant 3D; modify 3D models in Revit and detailed drawings.
• Develop process skids in SolidWorks and generate detailed mechanical drawings; design systems for safe, efficient operation.
